Rory McLean
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Rory McLean and I am a bagpiper for hire. I am prepared to play for any occasion including weddings, funerals, wakes, parties, military ceremonies, restaurants/pubs, and graduations. I have been playing for over 7 years and have performed for multiple events from casual to formal dress.
You should expect me to arrive early, play beautifully, and stay for as long as necessary. I am very flexible with any program or schedule that you already have in place. You may also ask my professional advice to better help the flow or design of your event.

Most gigs can be classified into 3 main groups; Supportive, Formal, and Parade
A supportive gig can be described as hiring a bagpiper for background music such as a pub, bar or a backyard party. A formal gig requires precision timing and skill; such as weddings, funerals, wakes, or military ceremony's. Parades are any event which requires the bagpiper to march in a parade while continuously playing.
Although the dress code is completely up to you, please keep in mind that the price will vary according to which classification you're gig falls under. If you need any extra information, please feel free to ask and I would be more than happy to answer question you may have.
